Weddings 1/28/07

Chris' reaction to this wedding announcement:

First of all I don’t trust anyone with an IV at the end of their name. Either he is from the south and loves Nascar oris from a pompous family with political aspirations.

Much to my delight he is actually both.

Apparently this guy was sick of hurting the feelings of all the woman he dated and yearned for a life long relationship. That is all great but they made him up to be an everyday guy but what guy drives a 36 Aston Martin on date to Chili’s, just camouflage for the fact he is a total douche.

When he found the illustrious Shannon he didn’t deem her worthy for a second date until 12 months later. The more I read the more of complete tool he seemed.I found the photo quite amusing as I doubt Shannon will see a sword like that again if you catch my drift.

The fact that as cute as she looked she hadn’t married by age 41 points out that she probably has a few bats in the cave as well. I am skeptical as to how long this will truly last and if they will produce a number V.

black people listen to music other than jazz and hip-hop! no way! they make it too!

"There is even a new word for black fans of indie rock: "blipster," which was added to UrbanDictionary .com last summer, defined as "a person who is black and also can be stereotyped by appearance, musical taste, and/or social scene as a hipster.""

another major annoyance- this quote:
(blah, blahb blah) to cater to consumers who, like himself, want to dress with the accouterments of indie rock: "young people who wear tight jeans and Vans and skateboard through the projects," he said.

another annoying article in the nyt style section, "uncruel beauty". this one starts off with some lady saying that she eats less meat than she used too, but she's not yet ready to go vegan and stop carrying purses made of crocodile.

that's just annoying. don't get interviewed about being "uncruel" if you're not. and i'm wicked impressed that she eats less meat. who fucking cares.

the article then continues on to discuss green fashions, which is great, if you can afford it.

i just don't get why they interview these people who say they care about something, but are only half ass.

that being said, i'm not saying that i'm "eating less meat" (although i don't carry a crocodile purse), but i also don't get interviewed for these silly articles .
